CMS just informed me and my colleagues at the Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders that the Agency
issued a change to the 2024 payment for HBOT. CMS has just posted the corrected rate for hyperbaric oxygen therapy in its January 2024 payment files. This new rate is $132.21.
CMS was appreciative that the Alliance brought this issue to their attention. This success was brought about through a collaborative effort with Alliance members UHMS and Healogics, LLC. as well as with RestorixHealth and
