HISD 2021-2022 Back to School Plan

The new 2021-2022 HISD safety “plan” is not a plan. It’s a lazy, paint all children of all ages with the same brush approach to a complicated public health crisis.
For starters, why would they have the same policy in place at high schools where essentially all children can be vaccinated that they have at middle and elementary schools?

Class of 2022 JULY 4th Senior Bash

Hi parents! On behalf of the senior committee, we would greatly appreciate your assistance in our annual 4th of July bash, which is a fundraiser for the senior committee. The following is a list of donation items we are in need of. Donations can be dropped off at Carnegie between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Thursday. If you come by to donate, just ask for Ms. Alvarenga and let her know you’re here to drop off donations for senior committee.
Any and all donations are welcome. Thank you so much for your consideration!

It’s that time of year again! The annual 4th of July Bash is back! Please join us in celebrations and festivities on Sunday, July 4th from 5-10 PM at Carnegie Vanguard High School for a variety of food, games, live music, as well as a fabulous view of the Downtown fireworks show.
Spread the word: invite your family and friends, all are welcome! Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets, but please no food, dogs, or outside food or drink. We hope to see you all there!
Tickets start at $10 for prepay, $12 at the door, with a $5 parking fee. Additionally, families of 4 can redeem a discount of $5, on 4 tickets. Tickets can be bought at bit.ly/4JTix.
